One of my favorite bridges is in Schenley Park, and has no name. It's where Schenley Drive, crosses Panther Hallow. Everyday people attach locks representing their love. People make this bridge beautiful.

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is a complex of buildings set in Schenley Park. The gardens were first built in 1893 by Henry Phipps Jr as a gift to the city. It's also a certified "Green Building" with Sustainable Landscapes, and a goal to be carbon neutral. Hint check out the model trains during Christmas.

The 18 hole public golf course was first named the Schenley Park Golf Course back in 1902. Steel not only built the city, but gave back to the city. Over 100 years after its hay day, the city still benefits from Steel. Let it be parks, or a university like Carnegie Mellon University. These endowments the saved Pittsburgh from fading away like many rust belt cities On another note, in 2012, it was certified by the Audubon International as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.

This memorial unveiled October 6, 1930, honors George Westinghouse. It"s a testimonial to the esteem, affection and loyalty of 60,000 employees. In his later years we was called "The Greatest Living Engineer". Interesting note the architect of the memorial is the same one as the Lincoln Memorial.
